How do I log in to Quality Coordinator?

Open your web browser (eg Internet Explorer) and type in the link to Quality Coordinator (Check with your Quality Coordinator contact officer for the details). Enter your username and password. Once logged in you can click on ‘help’ if you are not sure how to carry out the task you have to do.

How do I change my password and profile details?

Log in and click on ‘My profile’ at the top right of the Quality Coordinator screen. Type in the fields to update your profile information. Type your new password in the ‘password’ field to change your password. Click save. The next time you log in you will need to use your new password.

I access the software with my internet browser. Does this mean the software on the internet?

The software is currently on the Internet and this is expected to continue until end April 2011. After this, the software will be installed on your organisation’s server. You will continue to access it with your web browser only the address (URL) will change.

I have received a task reminder email and have a task in my Tasks inbox. What do I do now?

Log in and locate the task. Click on the link in the ‘Description’ column. This will take you to the Action form which will list instructions for what you are meant to do. You can click on ‘help’ if you are not sure how to complete the Action form.

Can I allocate a task to someone else?

Yes. Users with ‘manager’ permission rights can go to the yellow Information Form for the task and change the Action Officer. Users without ‘manager’ permission rights cannot reallocate tasks. See your manager if you think changes need to be made to the task.

How do I print reports on the status of tasks?

Click on Meetings and find the meeting group you are in (eg Finance team meeting). Click on the meeting name link and then click ‘Print’. This will print a report of all tasks allocated to that team and their status.

A second option is to go to the Register when the relevant tasks are and click print. This will print a report of all tasks in the Register you are viewing. You can also create your own reports by clicking on the triangles near the column name and selecting just the specific types of tasks you want in your report.
